My second attempt of working with plaster. I returned to this material, having found a rubber from for casting blocks in a shop. Now the blocks come out much more even than before. There is only one disadvantage – they are big in size. Therefore they are already not bricks, but plaster blocks. As inhabitants of the house I chose a set of figures of Mummy-trolls, which my friend brought from Germany for me a couple of years ago. ![]() I spent a couple of evenings, collecting the building materials. As I have already said, they came out to be even and identical. Super! ![]() I begin the house’s layout. As always, a lining out on paper at first. On the first (basement) floor I decided to arrange a garage and a box room. There will be a ladder leading from here to the first floor. ![]() Future inhabitants of the house take an active part in the building process. Hemul brings the blocks, Snusmumrik controls the quality of the building, and Sniff runs around the building area and bothers everybody :))) ![]() And now a future division on rooms is already seen. A big place from above is a garage. I have no idea yet, which kind of transport could fit there. There is a door to the lobby from a garage. Down on the left there is a box room with stock. In the last room a ladder leading upstairs will be added. ![]() The work is going ahead in its outmost. ![]() I decided to make an additional door from the lobby to the courtyard. Sniff constructs the shelves in the box room, where the supplies for winter will be kept. The framework of the ladder is already laid. ![]() Hemul looks sadly: ‘let me put this block anywhere finally’. ![]() At this stage I decided to try to connect the blocks not only with a glue. I drill reach-through holes in key blocks and place them on wooden pegs. I am not sure if I need such durability in future, but in the collecting process the benefit of this technology is well seen. Each block is put on its place like a glove. And no need to wait for the glue to harden. To be continued…
